Graphic and Signage Designer

Job Description

Key responsibilities

1. Develop and design original graphics, layouts and visual concepts for digital and print applications
2. Create designs for signage, branding materials, digital content and marketing collateral
3. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and translate briefs into compelling visual designs
4. Utilise design software and tools to produce high-quality deliverables that meet brand guidelines and client specifications

What we’re looking for

1. Graphic designers in print and sign industry’ ‘Print & Sign industry experience A MUST HAVE
2. Proven experience in graphic design and digital design with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative ability and technical proficiency
3. Minimum 3-5 years of graphic design experience is required
4. Proficiency in Coral Draw Graphic Suite
5. Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), as well as digital design tools
6. Strong visual communication skills with the ability to interpret creative briefs and translate ideas into compelling designs
7. Knowledge of design principles, colour theory, typography and layout composition
8. Experience designing for both print and digital mediums, including signage, web graphics and marketing materials
9. Signage design experience is preferred but not essential
10. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple projects
11. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a part-time capacity
12. Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members whilst also demonstrating creative independence
13. Understanding of file formats, resolution requirements and technical specifications for various applications
