Data Analyst

Job Description

The role

As a Data Analyst, you will analyse and deliver data insights that support business decision-making and operational outcomes. You will work with stakeholders across the business to deliver reporting, dashboards and ad-hoc analysis using the Enterprise Data Platform.

• Analyse and translate business needs into data and technical requirements
• Deliver PowerBI reports, dashboards and data visualisations
• Provide BAU reporting and ad-hoc analysis in line with SLAs
• Build relationships across data sources and datasets
• Identify opportunities to improve BI processes and self-service analytics
• Document metrics and promote data literacy across stakeholders

About you

You are an experienced analyst who applies strong technical skills to solve problems and deliver high-quality insights. You communicate effectively with stakeholders and translate data into clear, meaningful outcomes.

• Experience as a Data Analyst in a data warehouse environment
• Advanced SQL and Excel with exposure to Python and PowerBI
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure Databricks
• Strong data visualisation and stakeholder management capability
• Analytical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience in financial services or Agile delivery (desirable)
