Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior UX/UI Officer (APS 6 level) to support the delivery of high-quality, user-centred digital solutions within a large government environment located in RICHMOND VIC. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of a centralised design system and champion best-practice UX/UI across complex digital products.

About the Role

Lead the creation and evolution of a centralised design system , including component libraries, variants, and design tokens Establish and maintain UI standards, patterns, and documentation to ensure consistency across platforms Conduct user research, develop user flows, prototypes, and usability testing to inform design decisions

Translate complex requirements into intuitive, accessible digital experiences Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between UX/UI and technical delivery Champion digital accessibility standards , including WCAG 2.2 compliance

Contribute to the development of a broader UX design framework Support stakeholders by translating concepts into clear, user-focused design outputs Benefits
