Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
As a Senior Back-End Developer, you’ll be responsible for guiding and designing the architecture, delivery and development of the software systems that power our business unit. A hands-on, highly skilled software developer with the experience to dive into code to deliver high quality, well-designed software. You will share responsibility for the quality of the software being built, including but not limited to; achieving desired business outcomes, meeting reliability and performance expectations and safely managing security and data privacy concerns.
You’ll have:
- 6+ years in a hands-on Software Engineering role
- Extensive experience leading the architecture and design of backend systems using Java and related technologies ensuring scalability, reliability and performance.
- Proficiency in API development , Microservices architecture ,Service Oriented Architecture, Message Queueing , Event Driven Architecture ,service mesh and databases
- Proven technology experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, MYSQL, PostgreSQL ,AWS, Git, CI/CD ,Kubernates
- Proficient in observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog and Splunk
- Confidence with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions
- A real passion for quality, clean code and continuous improvement
- A strong understanding of architectural concepts and cloud-based solution design
