Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, coding, testing, and debugging software applications using languages such as Java, Python, C++, C#, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate on front-end development tasks utilizing React, Express, and RESTful APIs to create user-friendly interfaces.
• Support the integration of cloud services like AWS and Azure to enhance application scalability and security.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of web applications using Ruby on Rails, .NET, and other frameworks.
• Work within Agile teams to participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews using version control tools like GitHub, Git, and SVN.
• Assist in managing databases such as MySQL and SQL Server by writing queries and optimizing performance.
• Gain exposure to Linux environments for application deployment and testing purposes.
• Learn about IT infrastructure components including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), REST APIs, and application security best practices.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of software development principles across multiple programming languages including Python, JavaScript, C++, or C#.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks such as React, Ruby on Rails, or .NET is highly desirable.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying applications.
• Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN for collaborative coding projects.
• Knowledge of MONGODB, SQL databases including MySQL or SQL Server for data management tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn new technologies like Quantum engineering concepts or RESTful API design.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment with excellent communication skills.
