Site Reliability Engineer

Your new role

In this exciting new role, you will be:

• Supporting the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of high-performance infrastructure environments.
• Managing and optimising Linux-based systems.
• Building, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
• Supporting containerised and clustered environments (Kubernetes, Slurm).
• Implementing and managing monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Automating operational processes through scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Participating in on-call support and ensuring high system availability.
• Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to improve system reliability and performance.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in your application, you will need:

• Demonstrated experience in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
• Strong Linux systems administration skills.
• Proven experience with CI/CD tools and automation practices.
• Scripting experience in Powershell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience working with Kubernetes and/or Slurm environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
