Senior Software Developer – Oracle x 4

Job Description

Your new role

• Use Agile values and principles to develop working software that meets business requirements and exceeds expectations.
• Leverage DevOps tools, methodologies and new ways of working to turn around technical solutions for multiple, parallel tracks, under aggressive timelines
• Troubleshoot software defects, incidents and problems
• Respond and follow-up in a timely manner to support tickets and ad-hoc data queries.
• Automate existing manual processes in the SDLC to eliminate human-errors and achieve productivity and efficiency gains through build and test automation
• Maintain and apply knowledge of contemporary and emerging software design, development, testing and hosting techniques, tools and platforms

What you’ll need to succeed

• Oracle database concepts, data modelling and programming fundamentals (At least 5 years’ experience preferred)
• Source Control and Version control systems
• XML, Weblogic, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
• JIRA, CI/CD and DevOps tools
• REST APIs, Microservices
• NoSQL, Cloud hosting concepts and technologies
• Oracle certification
• Software Engineering Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification/experience
• Experience Oracle Forms & Reports*, PL/SQL (At least 5 years’ experience preferred)
