About the Role

You will work directly with the founding team to architect and ship production-grade applications, integrate third-party platforms via APIs, and help establish the engineering foundation of our product suite.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable APIs, webhooks, and web services using modern frameworks, with a focus on performance, reliability, and security
• Build and maintain responsive, component-based web applications using React, Next.js, or equivalent front-end frameworks
• Develop and integrate AI agent pipelines using LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI) including prompt design, orchestration patterns, and fallback/recovery logic
• Create and deploy web-based AI clients that securely communicate with backend MCP servers to orchestrate models and external data sources
• Build custom UI extensions and widget applications within business platform ecosystems using HTML, CSS, Tailwind, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Configure OAuth 2.0 authentication, webhooks, and secure third-party integration patterns
• Architect and manage integrations with third-party platforms via REST and SOAP APIs
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and conduct thorough testing via Postman and equivalent tooling
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the founder, project managers, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues around performance, scalability, and security across client deployments

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience
• Strong backend proficiency in Node.js and Python with a solid understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Front-end competency in React.js, Next.js, or equivalent component-based frameworks with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience integrating AI and LLM platforms (Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent) including prompt design and workflow orchestration
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) server patterns and AI agent architecture
• Experience building custom UI widgets and extensions within CRM or business platform ecosystems
• OAuth 2.0, encryption, and secure API integration patterns
• DNS and DKIM configuration experience
• API testing with Postman or equivalent tooling
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Cloud hosting experience (Render, Railway, AWS, or equivalent) including deployment, CDN, and environment management
