About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our remote team at Ardent. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and integrating front-end applications with various backend services, including REST APIs, ITSM, and geospatial systems. You will apply UI/UX design principles to enhance usability and ensure compliance with accessibility standards such as Section 508. Collaborating closely with back-end developers and stakeholders, you will support system integration, testing, debugging, and performance optimization to deliver high-quality web applications. Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of front-end development experience.
• Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience integrating and working with REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of development tools including npm/yarn, Webpack/Vite, and Git for version control.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles to improve user experience.
• Familiarity with Section 508 and web accessibility standards.
• Experience with integrating web applications with enterprise back-end systems.
  

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using modern front-end frameworks.
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs, including ITSM and geospatial services.
• Apply UI/UX best practices to enhance usability and accessibility of web interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with Section 508 and other web accessibility standards.
• Utilize development tools such as npm/yarn, Webpack/Vite, and Git to streamline development workflows.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and stakeholders to support system integration efforts.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and performance tuning to optimize web application performance.
• Contribute to Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews.
• Support documentation and knowledge sharing within the team to promote best practices.
