Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

The Role
Reporting to the Infrastructure Lead, you will sit within the Infrastructure and Operations team and work closely with development, integration, and broader IT stakeholders.

You’ll be responsible for supporting and maintaining cloud and infrastructure services, contributing to platform enhancements, and driving improvements across reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, stable, and highly available
• Manage incidents, changes, and escalations in line with operational processes
• Deploy and support infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps)
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity across cloud and infrastructure platforms
• Contribute to improvements in automation, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery capability across key systems
• Work with technical teams to support projects, upgrades, and platform enhancements

 What You Will Bring

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure or cloud engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Good understanding of networking and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or similar)
• Experience in structured IT support environments (incident, change, problem management)
• Strong troubleshooting skills in production environments
• Clear communicator who can work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
