Job Summary:

The Help Desk Analyst provides technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, ensuring smooth IT operations. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, patience, and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams as needed.
• Document support requests, solutions, and user interactions in the ticketing system.
• Provide guidance and training to end-users on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist with IT projects, software deployments, and system upgrades.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of common technical issues and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
• Proficiency with Windows and/or Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira) preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with networking concepts, VPNs, and cloud-based services.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
• Experience supporting remote or hybrid work environments.
