Software Development Engineer – Full Stack

Regarding product and code, were looking to work with experienced people who can pick a problem and solve it. We use JavaScript / Typescript and build scalable systems so we can continuously make progress on a solid foundation. We dont expect you to have a background in everything we use, but we expect strong JavaScript fundamentals and a background working with React / Vue,TypeScript, Node JS, web development technologies and AWS.

Key Accountability :

– Developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications.

– Collaborating with the design team to implement a UI that is visually appealing and intuitive.

– Building and optimizing database structures and queries to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.

– Implementing server-side logic and APIs for seamless communication between the front-end & back-end systems.

– Conducting thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix software defects or issues.

– Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.

– Collaborating with other team members, such as designers and product managers, to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

– Providing technical guidance and support to other team members in their growth and development

– Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices and deliver cutting-edge solutions.

– Self-starter who understands the big-picture and is result- oriented.

Key Competencies :

– Minimum of 4 years of experience in full stack web development.

– Proficiency technologies : JavaScript, Node.js, React / Vue / Angular, REST, GraphQL, API design, HTML, CSS, SQL/NoSQL, version control systems and/or similar technologies.

– Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker).

– Experience in planning and performing unit testing and system integration testing, facilitating performance and user acceptance testing (using xUnit, Jasmine, mocks, fakes, etc.).

– Experience architecting, designing, and developing software solutions.

– Ability to provide technical expertise and creative solutions while maintaining alignment to the organization’s objectives and customer needs.

– Substantial knowledge in security concepts and experience with secure code development techniques.

– Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset.

– Ability to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members.
