Senior DevOps Engineer (Private Cloud & Secure Platforms)

Job Description

The Role

You will play a key role in building, automating and operating Eunexus Cloud—our high-security, dedicated private cloud platform.

This is a hands-on role across infrastructure and platform engineering, with responsibility for both design and run.  This role is best suited to engineers who have worked in service provider or platform environments, rather than purely internal enterprise IT.

You will:

• Engineer and operate Linux-based platforms at scale
• Build and maintain OpenStack-based private cloud environments
• Design and implement automation, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
• Support secure, segmented environments with strict isolation and compliance requirements
• Work closely with development teams to enable reliable, scalable application platforms
• Troubleshoot complex platform, network and systems issues
• Contribute to platform architecture and continuous improvement

What You Bring

• Experience operating within a private cloud or managed infrastructure provider, where you were responsible for running and evolving shared or customer-facing platforms in production
• Strong experience in Linux systems administration (enterprise environments)
• Proven experience with OpenStack (deployment, operations, troubleshooting)
• Deep understanding of private cloud / virtualisation platforms
• Solid DevOps capability:
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
  • Automation and scripting (Python, Bash)
• Strong networking fundamentals (routing, firewalls, segmentation)
• Experience operating in high-security or regulated environments
• Ability to work across both build and run responsibilities
