- Translate complex system requirements and business processes into robust, scalable software across multiple asset classes and data sources.
- Drive continuous integration practices and maintain performance standards using profiling and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, from architecture through testing and deployment.
- Apply deep technical expertise to identify performance bottlenecks, resolve issues efficiently, and deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving product requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience, with strong expertise in back-end Java development.
- Proven knowledge of core Java fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and networking protocols.
- Proficiency with Linux environments and log analysis tools; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and performance profiling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in capital markets, fintech, or a regulated industry — particularly in trading, clearing, or surveillance functions.
- Experience working with high transaction volumes and multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, commodities).
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Exposure to global teams and multi-functional collaboration in fast-paced delivery environments.
