Systems Administrator & Network Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator & Network Specialist to manage and support the organization s IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and security systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring system availability, network performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining a secure and stable IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, systems, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, network connectivity, and security.
• Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, server, and network issues.
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Perform system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery activities.
• Ensure network security and implement security best practices.
• Support LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi infrastructure and remote connectivity.
• Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and support teams for issue resolution.
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Windows Server / Linux Administration
  • Active Directory
  • DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
  • Networking concepts and protocols
• Experience with:
  • Routers, switches, and firewalls
  • VPN and network security
  • System monitoring tools
  • Backup and recovery solutions
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and endpoint protection.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).
• Knowledge of Office 365 / Microsoft 365 administration.
• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Certifications such as:
  • CCNA
  • MCSA
  • RHCSA
  • CompTIA Network+
