Software Engineer – Data & Automation Analytics

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

– Develop and maintain applications using C and Python

– Work with SQL databases for data extraction, transformation, and analysis

– Build automation solutions using Excel Macros (VBA)

– Participate in the full SDLC : requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment

– Collaborate with stakeholders to perform business analysis, define use cases, and write functional specifications

– Design and support data models, data warehouses, and BI solutions

– Work on cloud integrations using platforms like AWS and Azure

– Provide production support, including incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution implementation

– Maintain project documentation including project plans, risk matrices, and issue logs

Required Skills :

– Programming : C, Python

– Databases : SQL

– Automation : Excel VBA / Macros

– SDLC : End-to-end development lifecycle experience

– Business Analysis : Requirement gathering, use case modeling, documentation

– Data Platforms : Data warehousing, BI tools, data modeling concepts

– Cloud : AWS and/or Azure

– Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills :

– Experience with system integrations and APIs

– Exposure to modern data analytics tools

– Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Soft Skills :

– Strong communication and stakeholder management

– Ability to work independently and in a team

– Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills

Education :

– Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
