Senior Application Support Engineer (Azure | Java / .NET | L2 / L3 )

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a senior support engineer to drive the stability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex production issues, working across legacy and modern cloud environments, and influencing system improvements at scale. 

You will play a key role in supporting a hybrid technology landscape—maintaining legacy platforms while contributing to a strategic migration to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠  ⁠Own end-to-end application support (L1–L3) across production and non-production environments

•⁠  ⁠Monitor system health, performance, and availability

•⁠  ⁠Manage incidents, problems, and service requests in line with SLAs

•⁠  ⁠Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA)

•⁠  ⁠Implement fixes, workarounds, and minor enhancements

•⁠  ⁠Support system stability during cloud migration (Azure)

•⁠  ⁠Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues

•⁠  ⁠Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures

•⁠  ⁠Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit, and security standards

Requirements

•⁠  ⁠Minimum 7+ years in application support / production support / SRE / operations engineering

•⁠  ⁠Strong experience in incident management, RCA, and troubleshooting

•⁠  ⁠Hands-on experience supporting Java-based applications and/or .NET applications

•⁠  ⁠Experience working with databases (Sybase, SQL Server, or Azure SQL)

•⁠  ⁠Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change)

•⁠  ⁠Exposure to cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure)

•⁠  ⁠Strong communication skills with ability to engage technical & business stakeholders
