Senior Technical Architect/Vice President

Job Description

 This role requires a hands-on technology leader who can define architecture, drive execution, and solve complex technical challenges across data, APIs, and third-party integrations. The candidate will play a critical role in building scalable, high-performance, integration-heavy systems powering global digital commerce solutions.

Technology Leadership :– Partner with business and product teams to translate goals into scalable technical solutions

– Own architecture decisions, standards, and platform scalability

Architecture & Integration Responsibilities :– Design and maintain API integrations between eCommerce platforms and ERP systems

– Integrate third-party services such as suppliers, payment gateways, and shipping providers

– Ensure real-time synchronization of orders, inventory, pricing, and customer data

– Troubleshoot integration issues and performance bottlenecks

– Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams

– Monitor API performance, logs, and error handling

– Implement best practices for security, scalability, and data integrity

– Document workflows, APIs, and data mappings

Outcome Expectations :– Stable and scalable integrations across systems

– Reduced manual intervention in data handling

– Improved data accuracy and system performance

Required Skills :– 10 – 12 years of experience in technology leadership and architecture roles

– Strong experience in API integrations and backend development

– Expertise in microservices and distributed architecture

– Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and middleware

– Experience with ERP systems (Business Central preferred)

– Proficiency in Node.js, Python, or similar backend technologies

– Strong experience with eCommerce platforms

– Understanding of JSON, XML, and data transformation

– Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases

– Knowledge of OAuth, API keys, JWT authentication

– Experience with data architecture and pipelines

– Understanding of event-driven systems and messaging queues

– Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
