Your new role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced
Integration Developer
to lead the design and delivery of complex health system integrations. Working across multiple health services, you will play a key role in enabling secure, standards‑based data exchange
platform, supporting improved clinical interoperability across Victoria.

This role sits at the centre of large‑scale digital health initiatives and requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder engagement and deep knowledge of healthcare integration standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, develop and maintain integration routes and interfaces across downstream systems including patient administration, clinical, financial, surveillance and reporting platforms
• Build integration components in compliance with SDLC standards, coding best practices and eHealth division technical architecture requirements
• Develop and maintain API and messaging interfaces using modern integration patterns and middleware tooling
• Produce and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, data dictionaries, interface inventories and change records
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive technical feedback to maintain quality standards across the integration codebase
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects and health service technical teams to translate requirements into maintainable integration solutions
• Support the resolution of integration defects and operational incidents across live environments in a timely manner
• Contribute to platform uplift activities including refactoring legacy interfaces, improving error handling and enhancing observability
  
• Produce and govern key architecture artefacts including
  integration designs, data flow diagrams and interface specifications
• Collaborate with the
  eHealth division, health service technical teams and delivery partners
  to resolve design dependencies and integration blockers
• Ensure solutions comply with
  Victorian and national health information standards, data governance frameworks and relevant legislation
• Assess health service onboarding readiness and provide
  technical advisory support
  to ensure successful integration go‑lives
