Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

Role and responsibilities:

• Development, deployment, and continuous improvement to the Windows laptop and server SOE services and the applications they host, including packaging
• Administer and monitor all client personal devices, including PCs, laptops, and their applications
• Provide up to third level service request, incident, and problem management services in accordance with agreed service levels
• Measure, report on and manage services to ensure conformance to client service levels, standards and procedures as required
• Undertake project activities for technology upgrades and updates to servers and desktops
• Proactively seek and deliver cross-skilling across other BTS areas
• Ensure the Configuration Management Database and procedures and support documentation are updated to the standard required by the client and the Configuration Management processes
• Document all build and security baselines and comply with these baselines for all deployment and improvement activities
• Provide IT Management with expert technical advice and suggest improvements to existing processes through the continuous improvement model

What you need to succeed

• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent subjects
• Industry certification in Windows and ITIL
• Experience with M365
