Project Engineer

Your new role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer will play a key role in the planning, coordination and execution of civil construction works, ensuring project milestones are achieved safely, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day engineering activities across the project
• Assist with construction planning, programming and sequencing
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings and quality standards
• Monitor costs, variations and progress reporting
• Support safety, environmental and quality management requirements
• Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement on site

What you’ll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Project Engineer on civil infrastructure or road projects
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and Australian standards
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site operations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
