Your new role

As a Senior Cloud Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting and evolving a private cloud and virtualised infrastructure environment. You’ll work hands-on across cloud platforms, providing expert technical support, advice and solutions that meet both operational and customer needs.

This role offers breadth and challenge, combining day-to-day platform support with project delivery, solution design and service improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders, contributing to the stability, performance and future direction of core cloud services.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong experience supporting enterprise cloud or virtualisation environments, with deep technical knowledge of VMware‑based platforms
• Hands‑on capability across infrastructure operations, including provisioning, capacity management, migrations and security
• Experience with automation, scripting or tooling to improve platform efficiency and reliability
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and virtualised network environments
• A methodical and proactive approach to diagnosing issues, managing risk and improving services
• The ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
