PHP Full Stack Developer

AdMedia is currently seeking a motivated PHP Fullstack Developer to manage existing websites as well as develop new features and maintain tools and systems. Our ideal candidate is someone with at least 5 years of experience developing websites. This position requires the ability to plan, multi-task, and follow through on projects.

Key Skills : Expert in hand-coding with PHP, ReactJS, MySQL, NodeJS, javascript, Agile, AJAX, Flash, XML, Perl, Chromium Extensions and Shell scripting

Key Responsibilities :

– Architect, develop, and maintain web-based platforms for AdTech and E-commerce products, ensuring high availability, robust functionality, and a seamless user experience.

– Design and implement scalable backend systems capable of handling large volumes of data and transactions, alongside intuitive and responsive front-end interfaces for optimal usability.

– Integrate third-party APIs to enhance platform functionality, and design, build, and maintain internal RESTful services to support internal operations and external requirements.

– Optimize database structures and queries for performance and efficiency, while managing server-side scripting to enable fast, secure, and reliable data processing.

– Ensure system-wide security, scalability, and performance, applying best practices for application hardening, load handling, and future-proofing internal platforms.

– Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Product, QA, and DevOps to align technical development with business goals and ensure smooth feature rollouts.

– Participate in code reviews and enforce development best practices to maintain clean, maintainable codebases and foster a strong engineering culture.

Required Experience and Qualifications :

– Must have 5+ years working experience in Online Search Advertising code environment or E commerce environment

– Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Computer Engineering is preferred.

– Hands on experience of PHP, ReactJS, MySQL, XML, Apache and Linux servers along with front-end development using Javascript, jQuery, and other libraries.

– Experience in MERN stack (NodeJS) development along with PHP tech stack is preferred.

– Knowledge of design patterns, composition, and object-oriented development.

– Experience working with APIs, both integrating a third-party API and creating your own when necessary(Oath, Facebook, Twitter, Google API experience preferred), integrating PHP into a full-stack environment.

– Ability to build custom REST API’s, and write JS/HTML/CSS Experience designing relational databases and queries Experience in Memcache, Redis orsimilar caching technology.

– Advanced knowledge of building Content Management Systems, either from your own designor from frameworks using CodeIgniter.

– Excellent communications and organizational skills 24/7 on-call for emergency response, disaster recovery.
