Software Engineer – Backend Development

Job Description

Responsibilities :

– Develop and maintain server-side components, ensuring the backend supports seamless interactions with the front-end

– Optimise database performance and ensure responsiveness to front-end requests

– Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server logic

– Design backend services to support various business processes and customer-facing applications

– Write efficient, testable, and reusable code for high-performance applications

– Implement robust security measures, data protection protocols, and storage solutions

– Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues, providing technical support as needed

– Document backend processes, including database designs and architecture

– Continuously recommend and implement improvements in backend technologies and processes

– Stay informed of the latest developments and trends in backend and cloud technologies

Requirements :

– Experience : 3-4 years of backend development experience, preferably in a product-based environment

– Languages & Frameworks : Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, Java, or Python. Experience with backend frameworks such as Node.js (Express/Nest), Flask, or Django is a plus

– Databases : Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)

– Cloud : Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS/GCP) and experience working with cloud-based applications and infrastructure
