Senior AI Engineer – Python

Job Description

About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Senior AI Engineer to design, build, and scale advanced AI-driven applications and data systems. The role focuses on developing intelligent, production-grade solutions, building reusable components, and driving innovation across data, analytics, and AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities (KRA) :

– Design and develop scalable AI-driven applications and intelligent systems

– Build and optimize retrieval-based pipelines, embedding strategies, and context-aware architectures

– Implement multi-step workflow systems with task orchestration and automation capabilities

– Develop API-driven architectures and integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems

– Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of AI systems in production

– Drive data integration with platforms such as data warehouses, analytics systems, and metadata layers

– Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment

– Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AI and data-driven applications

– Implement observability frameworks including telemetry, metrics tracking, and performance monitoring

– Continuously evaluate and improve system performance through testing, benchmarking, and iteration

– Contribute to reusable frameworks, accelerators, and platform-level capabilities

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business use cases

Required Skillsets :

– Strong programming expertise in Python, including testing, packaging, and dependency management

– Experience in building AI-driven applications and data-centric systems

– Strong understanding of retrieval systems, embeddings, and vector-based search architectures

– Experience with vector databases and document indexing strategies

– Hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel

– Strong knowledge of system design, scalable architecture, and engineering best practices

– Experience with REST APIs and microservices-based architectures

– Familiarity with data platforms, data warehouses, and analytics engineering workflows

– Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies

– Strong understanding of observability practices including monitoring, logging, and performance tracking

– Experience working on modernization, data migration, or platform engineering initiatives

– Ability to design efficient, maintainable, and forward-compatible systems

Preferred Qualifications :

– 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 23 years in applied AI / LLM system

– Experience in consulting, platform engineering, or reusable asset development environments

– Exposure to workflow orchestration systems and automation frameworks

– Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
