Website Developer & Support Engineer 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Website and Portal Management
• Maintain and update the company’s website and secure portal, integrating new features and functionalities.
• Implement changes and updates to ensure dynamic, user-friendly experiences.
• Security and Compliance
• Ensure that all components (front end, back end, database) adhere to HIPAA standards, using AES 256 encryption for secure data exchanges.
• Implement and monitor IAM (Identity and Access Management) solutions for secure access control.
• Tech Stack Management
• Utilize Next.js and React.js for a dynamic, responsive front end.
• Manage and develop back-end features using Python and Django, ensuring the monolithic server is stateless and compliant.
• Oversee Postgres DB for HIPAA-compliant, encrypted data storage.
• Integrate S3 Bucket for static asset management or secure backup storage.
• SEO and Performance Optimization
• Implement SEO strategies and monitor site performance to enhance search visibility.
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and robust security measures for the entire platform.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with product development, clinical trials, and business teams to gather and incorporate updates.
• Communicate technical details and project progress effectively with the leadership team.
• Analytics and Feature Enhancements
• Monitor user analytics, perform A/B testing, and implement data-driven improvements to optimize the user experience
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Educational Background
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on marketing websites, content generation, content presentation, website enhancement, etc.
• Technical Proficiency
• Strong command of programming languages and frameworks: WordPress, PHP, Next.js, React.js, Python, and Django.
• Experience with database management in Postgres and familiarity with S3 Bucket for storage.
• Proficient in SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Security and Compliance Experience
• Knowledge and experience with AES 256 encryption and HIPAA-compliant systems.
• Ability to implement and manage IAM solutions.
• Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Skills
• Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  

Qualifications:

• Background in healthcare or medical device industry (optional but bonus).
• Experience with UX/UI design and familiarity with tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards and compliance
