A day in the life
As an IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN, you’ll be part of a friendly and supportive IT team that keeps our systems running smoothly. Your daily tasks may include:
- Responding to and resolving IT support tickets
- Setting up and configuring hardware such as laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Installing and updating software applications
- Assisting with onboarding and offboarding users
- Supporting network, printer, and peripheral troubleshooting
- Maintaining and updating IT documentation and guides
- Helping with inventory and asset tracking
- Participating in ongoing IT projects and upgrades
- Required to be part of the on-call roster (once every few weeks)
- Store setup and travel opportunities
An ideal addition to the #GhandaGang will be:
- Willing to learn and eager to grow your IT knowledge
- A clear communicator who’s comfortable helping people at all levels
- Organised, reliable, and proactive
- Interested in technology and solving problems
Nice to have (but not essential for success):
- Familiar with Windows and/or macOS environments
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g. IP, DNS)
- Exposure to tools like Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or ticketing systems
- Experience configuring PC/Mobile hardware
