Android Developer – Java

Job Description

What Youll Do :

– Design, build, and enhance modern Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

– Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver seamless learning experiences

– Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following Android best practice

– Improve application performance, stability, and overall user experience

– Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making

– Stay up to date with the latest Android trends, tools, and frameworks

What Were Looking For :

– 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Android application development

– Strong proficiency in Kotlin

– Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern UIs

– Solid understanding of Android Architecture Components ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation

– Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries

– Strong understanding of MVVM architecture, design patterns, and clean coding principles

– Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have :

– Experience with Coroutines / Flow

– Knowledge of Unit Testing and UI Testing frameworks

– Exposure to app performance optimization and analytics tools

– Experience working in high-scale consumer or product-based companies
