Job Description

The Role

This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, data systems, and automation.

The focus is on building and operating the core platform that powers a data-intensive, real-time system, ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and efficient in production. This involves working across infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and distributed data workflows.

The role is hands-on and execution-driven, with an emphasis on automation, performance, and continuously improving how systems are built and run.

What You’ll Work On

  • Building and managing cloud infrastructure (GCP/AWS) for scalable, production systems
  • Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
  • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Supporting and optimizing data pipelines and distributed systems (e.g., Spark)
  • Improving system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency through continuous optimization
  • Working closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment and system stability

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 4 years of experience across DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles
  • Strong hands-on exposure to cloud environments (GCP preferred).
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and microservices-based systems
  • Familiarity with data pipelines or distributed systems, or the ability to ramp up quickly
  • A mindset focused on automation, efficiency, and improving existing systems
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve
  • Ability to work across multiple layers of the stack when required

What’s in It for You

  • Work on problems involving complex data, scale, and real-time systems, not typical infrastructure work
  • Own and shape core infrastructure and platform systems from an early stage
  • Operate in a high-ownership environment where your decisions directly impact system performance and scalability
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and data teams to build robust, production-grade systems
  • Be part of a team that values speed, learning, and practical execution over process-heavy environments
