Entry to Mid-Level PHP/Magento Developer

Job Description

Role and Requirements

• Assist in the development and maintenance of Magento 2, WordPress and static NextJS websites
• Contribute to the design and implementation of features and enhancements across our websites
• Help troubleshoot and fix bugs or issues on existing websites
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Assist in monitoring website performance and making recommendations for improvement
• Stay up to date with web development technologies, particularly Magento and WordPress
• 1–2 years of experience with Magento 2 development (personal or professional projects accepted)
• Some experience or understanding of WordPress development
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL,  and JavaScript
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and working within structured development processes
• Willingness to learn and work with technologies such as Nginx, Apache, Linux, or Microsoft Azure
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude

• Ability to work unsupervised
• Motivated and keen to learn new skills as required
• Someone who takes pride in their work and won’t finish a job until they are happy to stamp their name on it
• Excellent communication skills, a great attitude and a willingness to learn
