Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the core technology platforms that power internal business operations. This role sits at the intersection of IT, business systems, and process optimization—ensuring employees, investors, and stakeholders have secure, seamless access to the tools and information they need. The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with strong technical acumen, a passion for automation, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge & Information Systems
- Design and implement a knowledge management system to centralize institutional knowledge, operational documentation, and internal resources for business teams.
- Develop governance models for content lifecycle, taxonomy, permissions, and version control.
- Partner with business and operational leaders to ensure systems support cross-functional workflows.
Investor-Facing Systems
- Implement and maintain a subdocs (subscription documents) platform for investors, ensuring secure data exchange, compliance alignment, and streamlined investor onboarding.
- Collaborate with Investor Relations, Finance, and Legal teams to optimize document workflows and reporting.
Intranet & Internal Platforms
- Build and manage the company intranet, including architecture, access control, content structure, and integrations with internal tools.
- Evaluate and deploy third-party or custom solutions to improve communication and resource accessibility.
Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Create and manage identity lifecycle workflows, including provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and group-based permissioning.
- Integrate identity systems (e.g., Okta, Azure AD) with SaaS applications and internal tools.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.
Process Automation & Systems Engineering
- Design and maintain business process automations using workflow tools (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Power Automate, custom scripts, etc.).
- Identify opportunities to streamline manual operations across departments and implement scalable automation solutions.
- Build monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure reliability and traceability of automated processes.
Systems Integration & Architecture
- Evaluate, deploy, and maintain SaaS platforms used across the organization.
- Architect integrations between core systems (CRM, HRIS, ERP, data platforms) to ensure data consistency and operational continuity.
- Drive system standardization, improve architecture resilience, and implement best practice IT controls.
Support, Governance & Cross-Functional Enablement
- Serve as a technical liaison between IT, Security, Operations, and functional business teams.
- Develop documentation, playbooks, and training materials for employees and administrators.
- Manage vendor relationships and conduct periodic technology assessments.
Qualifications:
- 3–7+ years of experience in systems engineering, IT infrastructure, business systems administration, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud SaaS ecosystems (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Okta, Salesforce, Atlassian).
- Experience with automation and integration tools (APIs, iPaaS, scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JS).
- Familiarity with IAM principles, Zero Trust concepts, and security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
