UX/UI Designer

Job Description

The Role

We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer to collaborate with clients and delivery teams to design intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences.

This role focuses on translating user needs into well-crafted design artefacts — from early discovery through to high-fidelity prototypes — ensuring solutions are accessible, scalable, and aligned to modern design standards across web and mobile platforms.

What You’ll Do
Design & User Experience

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma
• Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile platforms
• Ensure designs are responsive and optimised across devices

User Research & Discovery

• Develop user personas, journeys, and information architecture
• Translate business and user needs into clear design solutions
• Contribute to user research and incorporate insights into design decisions

Accessibility & Standards

• Apply accessibility standards to ensure inclusive and usable experiences
• Ensure designs align with industry best practices and usability principles

Design Systems & Documentation

• Develop and maintain design system documentation
• Create reusable components and patterns for consistency across products
• Support developers with clear, implementable design specifications

Client Delivery & Collaboration

• Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes
• Present design concepts and articulate decisions confidently to stakeholders
• Contribute to workshops, discovery sessions, and solution design

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies
• Explore opportunities to utilise AI in design workflows and user experiences

What We’re Looking For
Design Experience

• Experience delivering UI/UX design in consulting or project environments (Consultant level)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design capability
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma (wireframing, prototyping, design systems)

User-Centred Design Skills

• Strong understanding of user experience principles, accessibility, and usability
• Experience with user stories, personas, and information architecture
• Ability to design for responsive, multi-device experiences

Ways of Working

• High energy, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Deep care for quality and attention to detail
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, client-facing environments
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn, including applying AI in design

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in a relevant field (e.g. design, user experience, or technology)
