Production engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Production & Process Management

• Plan, monitor, and control ceramic production processes (mixing, forming, drying, firing)
• Optimize kiln operations and firing cycles to improve product quality and reduce defects
• Ensure production targets are met with minimal downtime
• Implement process improvements and cost-reduction strategies

Quality Control

• Monitor raw materials and finished products for quality standards
• Reduce rejection rates (cracks, warping, shrinkage issues)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Ceramic Engineering / Materials Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
• 1–3 years of experience in ceramic manufacturing (tiles, sanitary ware, refractories, etc.)
