Test Engineer

Your new role

As an Automation Test Engineer, you will design, develop and execute automated testing solutions across complex, distributed systems. You will work closely within an Agile, cross‑functional team, contributing to comprehensive quality engineering practices including framework development, API, UI and mobile automation, CI/CD integration and continuous improvement. You will partner with engineers, analysts, project managers and vendor stakeholders to ensure high‑quality delivery throughout all phases of the SDLC.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Experience working in an Agile development environment within cross‑functional teams
• Multiple years of enterprise‑grade test automation across various SDLC phases
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and automation experience in complex environments.
• Solid understanding of API automation, including FastAPI, Java, Spring, Rest Assured, Postman and Newman
• Proficiency in Java and Python, using frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Spring and pytest
• Expertise in UI and mobile automation using Selenium and Appium
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins and Bamboo
• Exposure to BDD concepts and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies, with hands‑on experience in test strategy, planning and case development
• Experience coordinating testing activities with leadership, project teams, vendors and stakeholders
• Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation and negotiation skills
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Practical experience with Agile and Lean delivery practices
