Your new role

This role is responsible for maintaining a secure, reliable and efficient network environment while proactively strengthening the organisation’s cybersecurity posture.
Reporting to the Coordinator ICT, you will play a key role in network operations, cybersecurity initiatives and ICT projects, while also providing high‑level technical support across the business.

What you’ll be doing
Implementing, configuring and maintaining the organisation’s ICT network infrastructure
Supporting and administering routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points and security appliances
Managing LAN, SD‑WAN, corporate and public Wi‑Fi, IoT, CCTV and BMS networks
Proactively monitoring IT security systems and responding to alerts and incidents
Maintaining and enhancing cybersecurity controls in line with best practice
Participating in cybersecurity initiatives, audits and remediation activities
Supporting disaster recovery capabilities and maintaining accurate network documentation

What you’ll need to succeed

Strong experience administering enterprise network environments
Advanced knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches and wireless technologies
Experience with routing and network security protocols (e.g. OSPF, BGP, IPSec, VLANs, NAC)
Experience supporting networks in cloud environments
Solid experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
Exposure to vendor technologies such as Extreme Networks, Palo Alto and VMware
A strong interest in and understanding of cybersecurity.
