Your new role

This role is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining system integrations across multiple platforms, ensuring secure, reliable and efficient data exchange. It involves working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver integration solutions that support business needs, improve processes and maintain high system performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Design integration architectures, interfaces and data flows across systems.
• Develop and implement integrations using middleware, APIs and standard messaging protocols.
• Create data mapping and transformation rules to ensure consistency between systems.
• Conduct interoperability and integration testing to validate performance and reliability.
• Monitor, maintain and optimise integration platforms to prevent issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot integration failures and provide support to users and stakeholders.
• Document integration designs, configurations and best‑practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience in system integration, middleware development, or enterprise application integration
• Strong understanding of integration technologies, standards and protocols such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, SFTP, and related interoperability frameworks.
  Hands‑on experience with middleware and integration platforms, including Mirth/NextGen Connect and MuleSoft.
• Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
