Job Description

strong Level 2 technician with the right mindset and technical capability will also be considered.

Ideally, you will have experience working in an MSP or client-facing IT support environment, along with practical knowledge of:

  • Microsoft Windows Server environments
  • Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs)
  • Virtualisation platforms
  • Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
  • PowerShell or other scripting/automation tools
  • Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues


Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical teams and clients will also be essential.

As part of the technical team, your role will include:

  • Acting as an escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 service desk tickets
  • Troubleshooting advanced server, network and infrastructure issues
  • Supporting cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
  • Assisting with IT infrastructure projects, deployments and system upgrades
  • Identifying opportunities to improve system efficiency and automation
  • Creating scripts or automation tools where appropriate
  • Mentoring junior technicians and sharing knowledge within the team
  • Maintaining clear documentation of systems and solutions
