Job Description

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Software & Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, enterprise application architecture, cybersecurity, and regulated medical software development.

The ideal candidate will define secure, scalable, and compliant architectures using cloud-native and event-driven patterns that power next-generation healthcare solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

– Architecture Ownership : Define and own the system and cloud architecture for Azure-based enterprise applications in the medical domain.

– Design Patterns & Modern Architecture : Apply cloud-native design patterns, microservices, and event-driven/streaming architectures (Kafka, Event Hub, Service Bus) to enable scalability and resilience.

– Cybersecurity : Integrate security by design-implement authentication/authorization (OAuth, AD, SAML, OIDC), RBAC, encryption, and ensure compliance with ISO, IEC, FDA, HIPAA/GDPR.

– Cloud Leadership : Architect and deliver solutions using Azure-native services (AKS, Functions, App Services, Key Vault, Logic Apps, Event Grid, API Management).

– Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure all designs align with medical software regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA guidelines).

– Innovation & Best Practices : Champion the use of DevOps, CI/CD, containers, monitoring, and observability practices in cloud deployments.

– Collaboration : Partner with the Engineering Manager, product, regulatory, and global teams to align architecture with business and compliance goals.

Required Skills & Experience :

– 14-20 years of software/IT experience, with proven experience as Solution/Cloud Architect.

– Strong expertise in Azure services, cloud-native design patterns, and event-driven systems.

– Proven background in Java/.NET microservices, Angular/React frontends, and API-driven architectures.

– Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, secure coding, threat modeling, and compliance audits.

– Experience in regulated industries (medical, healthcare, life sciences).

– Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

– Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

– Exposure to Kafka, Event Hub, or other event-streaming platforms.

– Strong knowledge of DevSecOps practices and zero-trust architectures.

– Familiarity with data privacy standards (HIPAA, GDPR) and compliance audits in healthcare.

– Knowledge of hybrid cloud strategies and cost optimization practices.
