DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage deployments of our AI platform in on-premises OpenShift environments.

You will work closely with our existing DevOps team to build a cloud-agnostic and client-agnostic deployment architecture that runs consistently across Azure, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

Your Responsibilities

•Design modular deployment configurations

Create reusable, cloud-agnostic Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests that work across Kubernetes and OpenShift.

•Set up and manage OpenShift environments

Configure namespaces, networking, storage classes, secrets, security policies, and access controls.

•Build portable infrastructure architecture

Ensure deployments can be adapted to different client environments with minimal customization.

•Manage the deployment pipeline

Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to support our bi-weekly release cycle (dev → staging → prod → client environments).

•Collaborate with backend and frontend teams

Gather infrastructure requirements (storage, networking, environment variables, protocols) and ensure smooth integration.

•Implement observability

Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, centralized logging) in a cloud-agnostic manner.

•Work with client IT teams

Coordinate access, firewall rules, certificates, and infrastructure prerequisites for on-prem deployments.

•Document deployment procedures

Create clear runbooks and documentation to ensure repeatable and reliable deployments across platforms.

Requirements

•3+ years of experience as a DevOps or Platform Engineer

•Strong production experience with Red Hat OpenShift

•Hands-on experience building Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment configurations

•Solid understanding of cloud-agnostic, modular infrastructure design

Experience with:

Storage classes and persistent volumes

Networking and security in Kubernetes/OpenShift

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or OpenShift Pipelines)

Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging

Strong communication skills – able to coordinate with developers and client IT teams

•Scripting skills in Bash and Python
