Python Developer

Job Description

The Role
You will be embedded within an Agile delivery team, contributing hands-on to the development, testing, and deployment of AI-driven services. This role requires strong engineering fundamentals, cloud capability, and DevOps maturity.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Python-based services supporting an AI application
• Design and build scalable solutions within AWS environments
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (including GitHub Actions)
• Develop automated tests and ensure high code quality standards
• Contribute to DevOps best practices and infrastructure automation
• Collaborate within Agile ceremonies and cross-functional teams
• Provide post-build support during the 4-week stabilisation phase

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong commercial experience with Python development
• Proven experience building and deploying services in AWS
• Solid experience with Python-based testing frameworks
• Demonstrated DevOps capability, including CI/CD pipeline creation
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
