SAP Technical Architect

Job Description

Role Overview:

You will work within LTI Mindtree’s Cloud Factory program, partnering closely with Microsoft and SAP ECS teams to accelerate SAP RISE adoption. The role demands strong technical judgement, the ability to navigate complex engineering challenges, and a strategic mindset focused on scalable cloud architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver SAP RISE on Azure solutions aligned with Microsoft and SAP best practices
• Design scalable, resilient, and cost-optimised Azure cloud architectures, including hybrid integration
• Lead technical workshops and architecture assessments with enterprise customers
• Design secure connectivity using ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, DNS, hub-and-spoke topologies
• Implement identity, access control, and SSO using Microsoft Entra and SAP RBAC integration
• Define cloud security architecture using NSGs, Azure Firewall, IAM, RBAC, and Sentinel integration
• Apply Azure Landing Zone governance, policy enforcement, monitoring, and cost controls
• Support SAP BTP connectivity and cross-platform integration
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and customer-facing architecture deliverables

Required Technical Skills:

Cloud Architecture

• Azure architecture design for scalability, resilience, and performance
• Hybrid cloud and on-premises integration experience

Security

• Azure security best practices (IAM, RBAC, NSGs, Azure Firewall)
• SAP RBAC integration experience

Identity Management

• Strong experience with Microsoft Entra / Azure AD
• SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, federated identity configurations

Experience & Qualifications

• Proven SAP Basis / SAP RISE architecture experience on Azure
• Strong background in Azure Networking, Identity, Security, and Governance
• Experience working with enterprise-scale cloud migration programs
• Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-305, AZ-500) preferred
