Key responsibilities – Junior AI Software Engineer
As a Junior AI Software Engineer based in Melbourne, your role will include:

• Supporting the development of prompt-driven system functionality allowing users to retrieve operational insights
• Assisting in building MCP servers and AI integration components within the product platform
• Contributing to the development of AI agents with defined capabilities and workflow automation skills
• Helping design and implement voice-enabled interfaces that allow users to create tasks and trigger actions
• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to test, refine, and deploy AI-powered features
• Participating in experimentation, prototyping, and ongoing enhancement of AI capabilities across the platform

Job requirements – Junior AI Software Engineer

• Exposure to software development through university projects, internships, or early career experience
• Interest in AI technologies, LLMs, prompt-driven systems, or automation platforms
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, or similar)
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies quickly
• Ability to work collaboratively within a product-focused engineering environment
• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related discipline (preferred)
