About the job

As a Backend Engineer, you’ll help build polished user experiences, highly scalable APIs, and robust financial services, contributing to a product designed to become the go-to finance solution for businesses across Europe.

You’ll join a large, distributed backend engineering community and work within cross-functional teams alongside product managers, frontend, and mobile engineers. You’ll play a key role in shaping core financial products, supporting a rapidly growing user base, and delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain backend services aligned with team and business goals
• Write clean, well-documented, production-grade code
• Contribute to service architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness using Domain-Driven Design principles
• Participate in technical decision-making and mentor other engineers as you grow in technical leadership

Tech Stack

• Backend: Go,
• Frontend: React.js
• Mobile: Kotlin, Swift
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes on AWS
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Messaging & Observability: Kafka, ELK stack, and other modern tools

Your Team

You’ll join a large Product Engineering organization, structured into small cross-functional teams across multiple domains, including:

• Customer onboarding, account management, and compliance
• Payments and financial operations
• Platform systems, integrations, and monetization
• Cash flow management and bookkeeping tools
• Collaborative accounting and pre-accounting solutions
