Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a culture of excellence, customer obsession, velocity, and boldness.
• Write and test production code, working across the full stack and seamlessly connecting the front and back end.
• Build on our technical vision. Lead implementation of multiple complex projects.
• Continuously iterate on our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and the team.
• Understand and refine the scope of incoming projects to ensure deliverables are built to an enterprise standard
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices (e.g., style guidelines, git workflow, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
• Troubleshoot and triage issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and impact on service operations and quality.
• Influence technical strategy and roadmap through technical and non-technical insight.
• Mentor junior team members in career development.
• Improve and develop existing documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge and production code experience with technologies like Vue.js, Typescript, Node, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, and testing suites like Jest / Playwright.
• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
• Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit and integration testing techniques
• 3+ years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software
• 1+ years of experience with software design and architecture
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines from end to end
• Ship code very quickly and accurately
