Technical Architect – Cloud Platform & DevOps

Job Description

Job Summary :

We are looking for an excellent Technical Architect with strong expertise in GCP Cloud Architecture and DevOps to design, build, and manage high-availability, microservices-based cloud infrastructure . The role requires deep hands-on experience with – GCP, Terraform, DevOps tools, CloudOps, and Infra automation- , along with strong architectural and stakeholder-facing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

– Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

– Lead CloudOps and DevOps initiatives across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod)

– Architect and manage microservices-based platforms using GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)-

– Design and implement VPC architecture , networking, security, and access controls

– Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

– Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment

– Drive containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes

– Ensure cloud security best practices , compliance, and governance

– Act as SME for Cloud, DevOps, and Infra domains

– Support Jira Administration and ITSM processes

– Collaborate with application, platform, and operations teams

– Provide architectural guidance, reviews, and technical leadership

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

– 10-12 years of total IT experience

– Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

– DevOps & CloudOps hands-on experience

– Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (mandatory)

– GKE (Kubernetes) architecture and operations

– CI/CD tools & pipelines (Jenkins / GitLab CI / similar)

– Docker & container orchestration

– VPC design, networking, and cloud security

– Experience in high-availability, microservices-based architectures

– Strong Linux & scripting knowledge

– Jira Administration and ITSM process exposure

– Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and architectural skills

Good to Have / Added Advantage :

– Experience with Ansible

– Exposure to GIS-based systems

– Experience integrating SIP / WebRTC- solutions

– Knowledge of observability tools (logging, monitoring, alerting)

– Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
