We’re looking for a Lead UI Developer with a strong focus on React to guide front-end development across enterprise-grade applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping technical direction, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality user experiences in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You’ll play a key role in driving consistency, accessibility, and performance across digital products, while contributing to design systems and architectural decisions.

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of front-end solutions using React.js and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product owners to translate business requirements into responsive, high-performing interfaces.
  • Drive adoption and consistency of design systems and component libraries across multiple projects or squads.
  • Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
  • Champion front-end best practices, performance optimisation, and responsive design.
  • Work closely with DevOps and QA teams to support CI/CD processes and deployment automation.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and contribute to architectural decisions and standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan delivery roadmaps, estimate work, and align technical solutions with our client’s enterprise environment and security standards.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Senior or Lead UI Developer in enterprise or telecommunications environments.
  • Deep expertise in React.js (v19), including hooks, context API, and component-driven architecture.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, ES6+, and state management tools
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with component libraries and tools like Storybook, Material UI, or Chakra UI.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and Git workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gitlab, Azure DevOps). 
  • Exposure to modern tooling: Webpack, Vite, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, Jest, Cypress.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on inclusive team culture.
