Job Description

We’re looking for a UX Researcher who thrives on ambiguity, loves untangling complex systems, and isn’t afraid to question long-standing product assumptions. This is not a checkbox-ticking role — we’re not just validating flows, we’re shaping the future of multi-platform, AI-assisted tools used by thousands of technical users daily. You’ll join early in the product lifecycle, mapping decision points, identifying friction beneath the surface, and translating behavioral insights into strategic opportunities. Your findings will drive core roadmap decisions — not just polish what’s already been built.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with PMs, Designers, and Data Scientists to scope exploratory, foundational, and evaluative research across early-stage AI-powered enterprise tools.
  • Design and conduct multi-method studies, from contextual inquiries and concept testing to longitudinal usability benchmarks.
  • Bring clarity to open-ended problems by framing user mental models, task flows, and edge cases within technical environments.
  • Develop research artifacts that influence—not just inform—product strategy (think: behavioral models, journey frameworks, breakdown trees).
  • Advocate for the why behind design decisions using insights that go beyond surface-level feedback.
  • Establish signal thresholds for when research leads to product pivots, not just refinements.
  • Help build and maintain a centralized repository of UX findings, tagged and structured for scalability and future retrieval.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 3–5 years of hands-on UX research experience, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or technical product environments.
  • Proficiency in conducting mixed-method research, with an emphasis on qualitative depth (not just surveys and usability testing).
  • Demonstrated experience turning loosely scoped questions into crisp, prioritized research objectives.
  • Ability to synthesize findings across studies and distill patterns relevant to roadmap planning and design systems.
  • Strong understanding of how engineering constraints and business goals shape product feasibility.
  • Exceptional written communication skills — your research readouts can align a room without a single slide.
