Job Description
We’re looking for a UX Designer who thrives in ambiguity and doesn’t wait for pixel-perfect handoffs to get started. This role goes beyond wireframes — you’ll work directly with product managers, engineers, and researchers to shape experiences that solve messy, real-world problems. You’ll be embedded in one of our most complex product teams, where you’re expected to challenge assumptions, define interaction patterns, and turn user needs into clear, intuitive flows.
If you’ve designed for multi-platform systems (web + mobile), obsess over edge cases, and prefer quick prototyping over long decks, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and synthesize user research into actionable insights — from moderated sessions to field shadowing.
- Define interaction models and workflows for new features and refine existing ones, especially where technical or regulatory constraints exist.
- Collaborate with engineering on implementation details; stay involved post-handoff to ensure design integrity.
- Facilitate design critiques and actively solicit feedback to push work beyond what’s expected.
- Help maintain and evolve the design system when new components or behaviors emerge from your work.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of UX or product design experience, ideally within a SaaS or enterprise environment.
- Experience designing end-to-end flows for systems with complexity — think conditional logic, permission hierarchies, or configuration layers.
- Proficiency with Figma (not just UI design, but component libraries, variants, and prototyping).
- You’ve worked closely with front-end engineers and understand the practical constraints of design implementation.
- You can articulate why a design decision was made, backed by either research, testing, or a strong rationale.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity; you can break down vague goals into concrete design problems.
Nice to Have
- Background in service design or designing for offline/operational use cases.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 or later) and how to apply them in real scenarios.
- Experience with tools like Maze, Useberry, or similar for unmoderated testing.
