Job Description

Role Overview:
We’re seeking a UI Designer with a sharp eye for hierarchy, spacing, and interaction feedback. This role requires more than visual polish — we’re looking for someone who can translate complex functionality into clean, usable interfaces for a technical audience. You’ll be working closely with frontend engineers and UX researchers to ship high-context enterprise tools used daily in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-fidelity mockups and interaction specifications for complex workflows (think: nested data states, tabular UI, and contextual actions).
  • Apply and evolve our internal design system; propose component variants only when necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineers during implementation to ensure design accuracy down to 1px and proper state coverage (hover, focus, disabled, error).
  • Use Figma’s component and auto-layout capabilities to maintain consistency and design flexibility.
  • Proactively identify usability issues by walking through edge cases — not just ideal flows.
  • Present design rationale to cross-functional stakeholders with clarity and evidence.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience designing digital interfaces, preferably for tools with multi-step or nested user workflows.
  • Demonstrated mastery in Figma, with use of variables, component properties, and interactive prototypes.
  • Portfolio includes at least one shipped product with examples of tables, filters, modals, and system feedback (e.g., toasts, error messages).
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 accessibility principles — particularly color contrast and keyboard navigation design.
  • Comfortable working in agile sprints and iterating based on engineering feasibility constraints.
  • Experience with design tokens or contributing to a multi-product design system is a strong plus.
