Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Analyst to serve as the critical link between business challenges and technical solutions within our enterprise logistics and order fulfillment platform. This role goes beyond requirements gathering: you’ll dive deep into legacy ERP integrations, untangle undocumented workflows, and proactively identify system inefficiencies before they impact operations. You’ll work closely with product owners, DevOps engineers, and data architects to model system behavior, validate enhancements, and champion sustainable technical documentation. This is not a support role — this is a strategy-driven, architecture-aware position where you influence how systems evolve across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, model, and document system interactions across ERP, CRM, and third-party logistics APIs with a focus on data flow, transformation logic, and exception handling.
  • Facilitate in-depth working sessions with stakeholders to extract embedded knowledge from legacy business logic (especially undocumented batch processes).
  • Develop current vs. future state system maps, including data lineage diagrams and integration dependency matrices.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on performance bottlenecks in real-time reporting dashboards (Snowflake + Tableau).
  • Collaborate with DevOps and QA to define technical test cases that reflect real-world edge conditions.
  • Write precise, version-controlled specifications for features and system enhancements in Confluence/Jira.
  • Lead UAT coordination and post-deployment validation for cross-system upgrades, including regression impact assessments.
  • Serve as a functional escalation point for API failures and data mismatches between internal and vendor-managed platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst in a high-throughput, multi-system environment (preferably in e-commerce, logistics, or supply chain).
  • Proficiency in analyzing RESTful APIs, reading JSON payloads, and documenting request/response schemas.
  • Strong SQL skills with demonstrated ability to trace transactional data across multiple systems.
  • Experience interpreting and reverse-engineering poorly documented or deprecated system features.
  • Familiarity with enterprise ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle EBS) and how they integrate with custom services.
  • Clear understanding of system design patterns, integration strategies (e.g., pub/sub, ETL, batch sync), and data validation workflows.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience writing technical user stories with traceable acceptance criteria.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to service orchestration tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or Boomi).
  • Prior involvement in sunsetting legacy platforms or implementing major system migrations.
  • Experience working with version-controlled documentation environments.
